Milestone birthdays call for something guests will remember. Real Paella Catering cooks authentic Valencian paella on-site at birthday parties across North Florida, so guests gather around the paella pan, watch it cook and then enjoy a feast with seconds for everyone.
Why paella for a birthday party
- Food and entertainment in one. Guests love watching the chef cook.
- Great for backyards. We bring all the equipment and need no kitchen, water or electricity.
- All ages welcome. There is no separate kids menu, but kids love paella and we can serve smaller portions.
- Small parties work too. Our minimum is just 15 guests within about an hour of Tallahassee.
How it works
- Cooked in front of your guests in traditional paella pans, so the cooking is part of the fun.
- About 2 hours from setup until we are ready to serve.
- No kitchen, water or electricity needed. Just a flat outdoor area of at least 10′ x 10′ (more for larger parties) and access for our truck and trailer. We always bring a tent in case of rain.
- Served from the pan buffet style, or plated to the tables with servers.

A popular birthday menu
Paella mixta or a mix of seafood and vegan paella, Spanish salad, tapas, dessert and sangria for the adults. Parties under 40 guests can choose up to two types of paella; larger parties can mix as many as they like.
Our paella is naturally gluten-free with no MSG, made with Albufera rice, saffron and smoked paprika imported from Spain, and we offer a vegan paella. Add licensed bartending (no catering order required) and live flamenco guitar, a flamenco band or classical guitar. See the full catering menu.
