All loved the food and had fun interacting with the chef as he created a delicious paella mixta. The tapas were delish, as well as the salad and flan. Juan was great to work with. They were flexible when the weather wasn’t ideal and made adjustments for on-site cooking even in windy conditions. The paella was delicious and beautifully presented. Our guests absolutely raved about the food. Juan and his team were professional, courteous, and helpful throughout the event. They are also affordable! I can’t wait to throw another party so we can bring them back! I highly recommend choosing Real Paella, especially over more traditional (more boring and expensive) catering options.

| “It's the Real Thing.” I hired Real Paella last March for a large family get together and I couldn't have had a better experience. I was skeptic at first since I lived in Valencia (Spain) for three years teaching English literature and am very familiar with Spanish cuisine, but was pleasantly surprised with Juan's fantastic cooking. The food was authentic, and you could tell that all the ingredients were fresh. The appetizers were spectacular as well, and presented very elegantly. Everyone at the party said that one of their favorite parts was watching the cooking process and interacting with the chefs. | "Very unprofessional" Although he came recommended by a friend, I have nothing but terrible things to say about this vendor. He was supposed to show up one hour before event to start setting up the “cook in front of you” experience, but instead he called one hour before to say there was a ‘miscommunication' and instead he would not provide the cooking experience we would be paying for. Instead, he would make ahead of time and just come 1.5 hours AFTER party started and just heat them up when he got there. But when he got there he said that he did not need to heat them up and he had to just drop them off because he had another party to go to. But the worst part was when we approached him about the insignificant discount he was giving us for not providing the experience that we had arranged for, he very unprofessionally started packing up the food and said “Well if you don't want it, that's fine.” and began taking food away from a party full of hungry people that had been waiting 1.5 hours for him to get there. I cannot put into words how unprofessional this vendor was, and also without heating it up, of course the food was cold. I would not recommend him to anyone because he cannot put his ego aside to provide courteous customer service. I have seen very good reviews and very bad reviews on other sites, so it is obvious the owner's attitude just depends on the weather that day.
